BonRoll with Speck
A poultry meat roast with a speck and cheese stuffing
Extremely attractive when presented in its serving dish, this speciality makes a tasty main course to be accompanied with fresh vegetables or some interesting pickles.
IN THE OVEN: 70 minutes
Pour a little olive oil in an oven dish together with ½ glass of water or white wine; add the BonRoll and cook in an oven preheated to 180°C for 70 minutes, covering the dish for the first 50 minutes.
IN A SAUCEPAN: 90 minutes
Heat a little oil or butter together with a glass of water or white wine in a saucepan; add the BonRoll and cook it on a low heat for 90 minutes.
SLICED IN A FRYING PAN: to reduce cooking time:
Cut the BonRoll into slices about 2 cm thick. Gently fry them for 1 minute in a non-stick frying pan with a little butter. Add ½ glass of white wine and cook for a further 15 minutes on a low heat, covering the pan with a lid and turning them over frequently.
