Gran BonRoll with Prunes, Raisins and Pine Nuts
Gran BonRoll, easy to prepare and ready to serve, is a recipe taken from the great Italian culinary tradition, which BonRoll has successfully interpreted to make every meal an occasion to celebrate.
Lean turkey, with its elegant taste, is enhanced by the flavour of prunes, sultanas and pine nuts, the aroma of spices and herbs, and just the right amount of cooked ham for a touch of saltiness. A great main course for serving as you wish, with an accompaniment of vegetables. But it can also be turned into a fantastic complete meal. SEASONAL PRODUCT.
IN THE OVEN: 70 minutes
Pour a little olive oil in an oven dish together with ½ glass of water or white wine; add the BonRoll and cook in an oven preheated to 180°C for 70 minutes, covering the dish for the first 50 minutes.
IN A SAUCEPAN: 90 minutes
Heat a little oil or butter together with a glass of water or white wine in a saucepan; add the BonRoll and cook it on a low heat for 90 minutes.
SLICED IN A FRYING PAN: to reduce the cooking time
Cut the BonRoll into slices about 2 cm thick. Gently fry them for 1 minute in a non-stick frying pan with a little butter. Add ½ glass of white wine and cook for a further 15 minutes on a low heat, covering the pan with a lid and turning them over frequently.
