CHICKEN FILLETS WITH LEMON AND THYME SAUCE

To make chicken even more appetizing, just serve it with a delicate lemon and thyme sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 AIA Sliced Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 2 Untreated lemons
  • 1 Tsp. of corn starch
  • Extra-virgin olive oil as required
  • Thyme to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper and cook in a hot pan brushed with oil. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and dilute with half a glass of water, add the starch and mix.

Remove the fillets from the pan, pour the lemon juice over them and cook for 1 minute over a low heat until the sauce thickens. Season with salt, pepper, grated lemon rind and thyme.

Serve the fillets hot with the lemon sauce, along with a fresh seasonal salad.
