SAUSAGE WITH TOMATOES, HERBS AND MUSTARD SAUCE

This second course with Aia chicken sausages serves up a festive spirit.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of AIA Italian-Style Chicken Sausage
  • 3-4 ripe tomatoes
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Basil and marjoram
  • 80 g mild mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the seeds and cut the pulp into cubes. Place the cubes in a bowl with two tbsp. of oil, roughly chopped basil leaves, marjoram, salt and pepper.

Cook the sausages on the grill, place them on a serving dish. Sautée the tomato in a pan for two minutes and pour it over the sausage. Dilute the mustard in a little water, warm and serve with the sausages.

May be served with a mixed seasonal salad.
