After peeling the onions, boil them for about 20 minutes in a saucepan with plenty of salted water. When ready, strain and leave to cool before cutting off the top and removing their inner layers. Finely chop the onion content you have just removed and place in a bowl. In another bowl, unite the grated parmesan, parsley, sausage meat, egg and dry bread previously left to soak in milk. Now add a pinch of salt and half of the chopped onion pulp. Stuff the emptied onions with the mixture and dust them with breadcrumbs. Place your onions on a greased oven tray and cook in the oven preheated to 180°C for about 30 minutes until nice and golden. Your stuffed onions are ready to be enjoyed: buon appetito!
